Like the PS4 conference. We were all skeptical that this will be all behind the curtain stuff. But Microsoft went one step further and ACTUALLY showed us the console. New controller  and new Kinect will be included with the system.

The conference went smoothly. Announcing a new way to experience the Xbox Live dashboard. Being able to look up your fantasy roster during a LIVE game. Television took up the first 20 minutes of the show. You can switch easily from TV, to your game, and back to your TV. EA Sports titles were a big thing during the presentation. 15 titles were announced with 8 of them being new franchises.

While no actual gameplay was done during the presentation. Infinity Ward showed off some great looking footage using the Xbox One. Check out the behind the scenes of Call of Duty: Ghosts below

Reactions the the conference were split down the line. From praising the presentation to a Main complaint that the “Xbox One” was a TV box. What people don’t understand is, that E3 is happening next month, and Microsoft wants to wait till then to reveal more games. Which is a smart move IMO.

Ok, I love movies with post-apocalyptic futures. And this movie had a great sense of realism in that regard. This is a well-written movie with a great twist in the middle. I haven’t seen Tom Cruise in a movie since “MI:4″. And he still can bring the action no matter the genre of movie. This had great sci-fi elements. This was something new, fresh, and original. The acting of the 2 female leads were decent, but Tom Cruise really overshadowed them.

The movie starts off slow for the first 5-10 minutes, then it picks up with a bang. Even though I kind of spoiled the movie for myself (by finding out the “twist” before seeing it), it was still amazing what they did WITH the twist. And having Morgan Freeman in the movie, well…. he is just an awesome actor. He really helped carry this movie. There were some elements that I thought could be improved (acting, character development, etc.) but overall, this was just a highly enjoyable flick. Will it win any awards? Maybe not, but that does not matter.

Just a fun 2 hour movie with a tightly-wound storyline that will keep you watching until the very end. This is definitely a “see-it-again” movie.

When DC comic released the new He-man and the Masters of the Universe comic, I was elated to pick up issue #1.  I was a little concerned, because I went into this with high hopes, and lots of excitement.  Ultimately I was not disappointed.  It was not as good as I’d hoped, but was far better than I’d expected.

This is not an origin story, but more of a continuing saga.  It started off a little slow, but it still remained interesting.  The interaction between Prince Adam, and Teela seem reminiscent of the 2000′s animated series.   The relationship between Teela, Man-at-Arms and the Sorceress seemed to be the main focus of the beginning of the story.   But when Hordak, and the Horde come to Eternia to conquer it, the story picks up.  This is what sets it apart from the 80′s cartoon.  In this comic, when Hordak attacks, people die.  One thing that confused me at first was Hordak being referred to as a female.  In all other incarnations of Masters of the Universe he was male.  This gets cleared up at the end of the comic.  I’m not going to spoil the ending, but when Hordak reveals her identity, it’s someone true Masters of the Universe fan should remember.  By the way, unlike the earlier 6 issue run, we don’t have to wait 5 issues to see Adam turn into He-man.  When the Horde attacks, He-man’s ready.  Granted he doesn’t do to much in this issue, but it’s nice to see him there.

He-man and the Masters of the Universe #1 is a good start for this new series.  I can’t wait until issue #2 get released.  If you were a fan of the cartoons, the live action movie, or any of the earlier comic books, this may be a title you’ll want to get into.

Bethesda has announced today that it’s “Moving on” from Skyrim. After 3 DLC’s it’s time to say goodbye. The crew is hard at work on their next game. There are still some minor updates that Bethesda want to roll out before they are 100% done.

All i can say is “THANK YOU BETHESDA”  I knew that the world of Skyrim was going to be big, BUT not THIS BIG! I spent about 100 hours exploring caves, dungeons, and mountainsides, and that was me BARELY touching the main quest. I would spend hours talking to my friends, and we would all have different experiences in our adventures in that game. Skyrim will ALWAYS be one of my top games of all time.

Skyrim has been a labor of love for us since we started designing it in 2006. We never imagined it would become the phenomenon it has. And that is because of you, the fans. It was all of you who made it a success. We can’t thank you enough for embracing the game, spreading the word, and making it your own.

For the last year and a half we’ve been working on new content for Skyrim; from the game updates, Creation Kit, Steam Workshop, Kinect support, to DLCs. Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet.

Even though we’re moving on, we’ll still have minor updates to Skyrim as needed. We’ve invested so much of ourselves into Skyrim and will never truly say goodbye to it.

We loved hearing your stories, your in-game triumphs, and your suggestions. One thing stuck out to us through those emails, letters, and postings. And that is – video games matter. They’re as important to you as they are to us. It’s not just about entertainment, it’s about your time. And you chose to spend it with our game.

Thank you again for all your support. We hope you stay engaged in the gaming community here and elsewhere. Keep spreading the word. Games are the world’s best entertainment because they can do what other forms cannot – fill you with the wonder of exploration and the pride of accomplishment. On Friday April, 12 T-Mobile will be the last carrier in the US to get the iPhone 5. Earlier last month T-Mobile did away with their “Contract” plans, instead having the customer pay $99 down and $20 a month PLUS whatever plan you choose for the iPhone 5. The basic plan is Unlimited Talk, Text and 500 MB of data for $70 a month. For $10 more you can up the data to 2 gigs  For $10 MORE you can get Unlimited 4G/LTE data. Comes out to about $90 a month PLUS taxes. This makes T-Mobile the cheapest carries out of the Juggernauts (Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint)

Here’s the thing about T-Mobiles “NO CONTRACT” deal. They may not lock you into a 2 year contract, or penalize you for leaving early, BUT you will STILL be responsible for paying the $20 a month for the iPhone 5 until it’s paid off which comes out to $520 after 2 years.

To Entice people, T-Mobile has announced that IF you have an iPhone 4 or 4s from another carrier. You can trade that up to the 5 waiving the $99 down payment. PLUS they would give you credit (depending on the condition of your 4 or 4s) up to $120-$140 that you can put towards you bill or accessories. This deal goes until Father’s Day.

Now here’s what you have to keep in mind:

• LTE is only in 7 cities as of right now, including Phoenix, Arizona. So you MIGHT not be getting SUPER fast speeds at first.
• You have to pay about $60 upfront in taxes (they don’t tell you this)
• the iPhone 5s comes out later this year. As per usual, Apple releases an iPhone EVERY year since 2007.  usually announcing it in September. That’s 5 months away! Might be best to just wait for the new one.
